Your gift makes the next exoneration possible.
Thank you for making a difference in the lives of the wrongfully convicted.
We are a registered 501(c)(3) charitable organization. Our EIN is 26-3176893. Gifts to the Project are fully tax-deductible and the majority of every donation that we receive goes directly to providing legal and reentry services at no cost to wrongfully convicted people across Pennsylvania.

Gifts of appreciated securities can offer tax benefits while also supporting our work. When you transfer ownership of securities to the Project, you will receive a charitable deduction for the full market value as of the date of the transfer, and you will incur no capital gains tax subject to IRS limitations. Transfers are generally completed within one to three business days. Contact us for Vanguard account information and so that we can acknowledge your gift.
Donors over the age of 70-1/2 may make charitable gifts up to a total of $100,000 each year from your IRA or other retirement accounts. Please contact your legal or financial advisor about this giving method and let us know of any input you need from us.
Other types of gifts, including bequests, life insurance policies and gifts from charitable trusts, also support the Project’s work and contribute to our organization’s sustainability. Please contact your legal or financial advisor about these possible methods and let us know if you need any input from us.
Charity registration information may be obtained from the Pennsylvania Department of State by calling toll free within Pennsylvania 1-800-732-0999; registration does not imply endorsement.
